ARK's thanksgiving 2014 @ Pastor Solomon

Time flies ! We are now at the end of  the year 2014. 

God has tremendously blessed ARK, growed  us into a more loving and supportive group. We get to know more brothers and sisters in Christ, share and celebrate different seasons of lives together. We study God's word and encorage each other with life testimonies.

Praise and give thanks to God, for everything we have, for other things we don't need and every breath we take. 

        As always, ARK's celebration starts with FOOD and FOOD! We love to eat and share, such a great fellowship time at Pastor Solomon's .  

Sharing and prayer time as well as "Shoe Boxing Christmas Gift" , every year we gather together to give thanks to God also putting together some shoe box and send out small gifts to children all over the world.  (read more at , http://www.samaritanspurse.org/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child/)

 As we conclude the year of 2014, we are also finishing our Joshua bible study for this quarter. We studied and learned the bold faith from Joshua and Caleb. The journey they had with God and the unfailing promises God planned for them.

Let's remind and encourage each other that although there are struggles and challenges but God is with us and will continue to be with us.

Praise God !  This was ARK's first time coordinate for New Horizons. 

Thanks to Jeff , who planned our own menu, and did the shopping. Thanks to all for cooking, cleaning and serving homeless youth food.

It's end of August already ??!!!!

How is everyone doing so far this summer??!! We have had a busy summer @The Ark - some people went on hiking, some went for road trips, and some went right to the beach! 

This is more of an acknowledgement than an announcement: For the very first time in the history of Ark, our WorshipTeam led the Sunday worship @ECC (Redmond) on August 11, 2013 !!! Truly praising the Lord for guiding the ArkWorshipTeam for the past two years - the formation, the practice, the prayers, the bible studies, the retreats, the growth - Let's continue to pray for our WorshipTeam as we journey into the second half of 2013. 

It's almost Retreat time !!

Where are YOU going to be during The Ark Retreat this coming weekend? 

Come join us at the retreat! Hang out by the beach house. Plenty of personal devotion time, fellowship time, activity time, and ...eating time!

Romans 12:2 "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing [not removing!] of your mind" That's right - that's what the retreat is all about. We need transformed people to transform the world.

2013 Memorial Day BBQ Feast

時間過得真快 !! Time flies !! Summer (if there is such thing in Seattle) is only 20+ days away !! To continue the tradition of ARK ~ yes, we are definitely having the Memorial Day BBQ Get-Together !!

Big ThankYOU to Mike + Brenda for hosting, BBQ-ing, prepping, cleaning ~ and ThankYOU all for bringing variety of food to share. WE HAD A BLAST !! So many friends stopping by for the fellowship time. We do hope to see all of you more often in the near future. 

Keep in mind that our next Ark fellowship date is JUNE 7, 2013 | Ark Retreat Weekend! 退休會 We still have a few openings - if you still have not signed up, please contact Pui-Yee if you would like to join. We are going to have great fellowship time, a fantastic + energetic speaker, beach side lodging, and of course, lots yummy food !!
