Give Us a Break !!!

Yes, we hear ya! We all want a Retreat - time to reflect on our relationship with God, why we need or don't need God (??!!) and of course, get to know each other better and have some fun! This is a great year to see quite a few new faces showing up at the Ark. We are all very excited about this upcoming year. From last kick-off meeting, we had a big turnout. Check it out (photo below):

Planning ahead, we do need to book the Retreat place & time early, we already had our first meeting at the Treehouse (Jerrold's) and got a few details down. We are anticipating approx 25 people ...! Yes, it's you, you and you !! To answer your question - No, retreat is not boring. In fact, you will be hooked on the retreat once you've come to one (speaking from personal experience ...!)

Yes, a pretty cute (or try to be cute) bunch indeed. Date & Location will be determined in the next couple weeks. It's likely that the Retreat will happen between June ~ Auguest (Friday, Saturday & Sunday), exactly, Summer time !!

Below are areas of task for the retreat - some already volunteered and signed up. Please let Jerrold know if you're able or interested to lead or help out in one of the tasks below. The more people helping the more fun we all have!

• REGISTRATION / PUBLICATION - Pui Yee & Jeanette

• SPEAKER & PROGRAM - Jennifer & Beth (Icebreakers)

• FOOD - Chin & ________

• ACCOUNTING - _________ (Yes, you will need a calculator for this one)

• LOGISTICS (Carpool / Room Arrangement) - ___________

In the mean time, please pray for the following:

1. Preparation of our hearts about this retreat
2. All related planning & logistics that our attitude, decision & action are all pleasing to God
3. As a group we are all drawing closer to God throughout the planning process
